Yesterday my classmates and I did the vow of silence. It was very hard to not talk when you really wanted to say something. The little kids tormented you sometimes, but you couldn't say anything. The only thing that you could do was walk away. After everything was done though, it was worth it. We knew we did it for a good reason, and to show that we support the kids who don't have a voice when no one else supports them. Now I know what these kids have to live with everyday, being silent is very hard. So I'm grateful for the rights I have for free speech, and for the people that support me.
