The War Measures act Hunter

In world war one and world war two the Ukrainians and Japanese were captured and put into prison camps then a bill was passed and the federal government was in total control. I think it was unjust for the Ukrainian and the Japanese because for no reason they got put in prison camps, and they did not get a say in what they wanted. It did go against the charter of rights and freedom because it took away the right of freedom, because they did not get to do their own thing. I do not think it would happen today, but I think it could happen.
