The war measures act (Ethan)

During the world war many of the Ukrainian people were born in Canada and most of them were put in a prison camp. This also happened to many of the Japanese people in the second world war. This was unjust because i think this is unjust because they were born in Canada you can't throw these people in a prison camp. They have the right today maybe not back then but today people have the right to confess themselves to the judge. But back then they were there just because they were born in Canada. This to me should be against the charter rights and freedoms but this could be allowed but to me this should be against because it seems that they are putting these people in prison camps just because they were born in Canada. These people should have a say in why they should be in the prison camp. if this was happening today this is not right because first they would probably be sent to see a judge to confess then if they are guilty they are there but if there not then there fine and won't be sent to the prison camp. That's why i think this is against the charter rights and freedoms.
