Racial Discrimination (Mats)

In 1918, a Quebec man was not allowed to get a seat in the "good" area of a theater because he was black, The man tried to take the matter to court, but the courts decided the theater had the right to decide who was allowed to sit in their seats. I think this goes against the charter of rights and freedoms because it doesn't allow the man to sit were he wants to. I think all people no matter were they are from should have all the same rights as everyone else. I don't think would happen today because there are now rights for black people and other kinds of people. So today anybody could have the good area of a theater.
